Just got the Californication box set, hitting up the first episode now. I don’t know what to expect really, all I know is that David Duchovny are going to play some kind of cool writer will be hard picturing since I always remember him as Mulder lol. But I will be objective and it wil be fun to look this thing thru.
I let you know what I think about it a little bit later 
I atleast started to grin a little bit in the second episode, but im still not flying head over heals. The selfloathing of hank (David Duchovny) begins to tear away in the third episode of Californication, maybe a too hard turn. Feels hard to make the script feel real with David Duchovny as some kind of babe magnet getting any babe as he wants, that have been the biggest thing for me to look over in this show so far.
Okey, I have gone thru five episodes now, and I can still not feel really where they want this headed. Where is the thrill? Start make me feel addicted to this now Duchovny, that is all I want from you but youre act aint taking me there yet.. Did I wait 6 episodes to finally see you get back together with your ex? I have seen you two tip toeing for each other for a long while now, I don’t feel that it had too take so long time. Where is the fire Californication? it sure the hell ain’t here.. But on the plusside Duchovny has finally shaken out the mulder imageout of him.
Episode 7, and the cat & mouse game with the ex continues, come on give me a break…
So episode 8 Hanks father dies, he has his mind set to not to go the funeral but theirs alot of backflash footage of the last time they meet while their was making the movie about Hanks book and I must say it’s not untill this episode I actually can feel some more deepth to this show. A downer or upper (deping on how they will spin it) Hank and his ex gets heated again, and gets convinced that he should attained the funeral.
Episode 9 Hank comes back from the funeral in New York written his first script in 5 years at the same time as he comes back his ex karens fiance Bill comes back from his buisness trip and were back to status qou, for how long will this go on? In the meanwhile Hanks agents wife Marcy has changed teams to the other side with his now ex secretary Danni.
Episode 10 Bills daughter takes the only copy of Hanks new script to his agents assistant claiming she’s the writer. Meanwhile Hank is his agents wingman to get him some chicks, and Karen is out with ‘the smurf’ to help her get a guy (meaning she’s back on the right field again) Karen finds out about the ring, and starts thinking. Hank & his agent Charlie hooked up with a girl and their ex’s who were about to take them back walks in to them..
Episode 11 Hanks ex Karen are going to marry Bill, so their daughter decides that she wants to live with Hank, which Karen isn’t taking so lightly. Everyone wants to make a deal with Bills daughters stolen script, only hank and his agent Charlie now that he is the real writer. But both Bills daughter and Charlie’s secretary has huge legal leverage on them both.
Episode 12 The day of the wedding, will Karen go thru with it? Are Hank going to get back hus script?
